Hand-cooked

The Sunday Telegraph - - Letters to the editor -

SIR – I share Dr John Lloyd’s dislike for “food presenters” who use their fingers to put food on plates (Letters, April 8). They even touch their noses while doing it.

They also put their faces so close to the plates that one has to assume they have eyesight problems. Coral Burne

SIR – In the canteen at my first place of work, the caterer, when pouring custard over a fruit pie, would fill the bowl until the custard immersed her thumb, positioned on the inside. Paul Randon
