Turkey shares recordings about Khashoggi murder
Turkey has shared recordings linked to the murder last month of Jamal Khashoggi, the journalist, with Britain, Saudi Arabia, the US and other allies, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the president, said yesterday.
Khashoggi was last seen on Oct 2. Saudi Arabia finally admitted the 59-year-old had been murdered in a “rogue” operation. Mr Erdoğan has accused the “highest levels” of the Saudi government of ordering the hit.
The US agreed late on Friday to stop refuelling assistance in the Saudi coalition’s war in Yemen.
