Bad news for Lego workers

Lego is one of the world’s most popular toys. The plastic bricks have captured the imaginatio­n of children – and adults – for decades, inspiring films and theme parks. This year, it was named the most powerful brand in the world. However, this year has also seen the company’s sales decline for the first time in 10 years, and Lego has announced that 1,400 workers will lose their jobs by the end of the year.
