Bad news for Lego work­ers

Lego is one of the world’s most pop­u­lar toys. The plas­tic bricks have cap­tured the imag­i­na­tion of chil­dren – and adults – for decades, in­spir­ing films and theme parks. This year, it was named the most pow­er­ful brand in the world. How­ever, this year has also seen the com­pany’s sales de­cline for the first time in 10 years, and Lego has an­nounced that 1,400 work­ers will lose their jobs by the end of the year.
