ISS astronauts blast off into space
On 12 September, a Soyuz MS-06 spacecraft blasted off from Kazakhstan’s Baikonur Cosmodrome. Its three-person crew, which includes two Nasa astronauts and a Russian, reached the International Space Station (ISS) later that day. They will stay onboard the ISS for five and a half months to conduct experiments. The new crew will join astronauts from Russia and Italy, who are already living and working there.
