Huge warship helps hurricane victims

The UK’s biggest warship, HMS Ocean, has sailed to the British Virgin Islands – a UK territory – to help people affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria. Hurricane Irma hit the islands in early September, and Maria followed two weeks later. The warship is carrying 650 military officers, plus helicopter­s and emergency aid for survivors. HMS Ocean has a flight deck bigger than a football pitch.
