Protest over ladies’ loos

-

On 23 September, women in cities across the Netherlands protested against the lack of ladies’ public toilets. In Amsterdam, there are 35 public urinals for men across the city, but only three public loos for ladies. The protests were triggered when a judge fined a lady for urinating in a side street, after she was unable to find anywhere to go to the toilet. Over 2,600 people have signed a petition to complain.
