Editor’s note

The Week - Junior - - Over To You -

Monday 13 November is World Kindness Day, when people around the globe are encouraged to be kind to others. Doing something kind is easy – it’s as simple as smiling at others, offering to help or giving someone a compliment. What matters is that what you do makes a positive difference to someone else. The film Wonder, which is released in the UK on 1 December, is based on a novel by R.J. Palacio and has the theme of kindness at its heart. The story centres on August Pullman, a boy whose face is disfigured, and his struggle to fit in at school. It demonstrates how a little kindness can make an enormous difference, and change lives for the better. The brilliant thing about being kind is that one act of kindness will often inspire another – kindness is infectious. We’d love to know about the impact of kindness in your life – whether it’s something you’ve done, or something that has been done for you. Tell us at hello@theweekjunior.co.uk
