Ire­land take on Pak­istan in first-ever Test match

On 11 May, Ire­land’s cricket team be­gan their first-ever Test match against Pak­istan in Malahide in Dublin, cap­i­tal city of Ire­land. In Test matches, a sin­gle game of cricket is played over five days. Ire­land are only the 11th team to play Test cricket. Ire­land made a strong start be­fore Pak­istan came back fight­ing to take the lead, and on the fifth and fi­nal day sealed vic­tory.
