Unbeknown to most tea drinkers, teabags contain up to 25% plastic (which explains why they don’t break down in compost). Britons use about 60 billion teabags – containing 2,400 tonnes of plastic – a year. Facebook, after its own director of research admitted that the social media site can harm users’ mental health. However, David Ginsberg said the solution was not to use Facebook less, but to use it more actively – sharing posts and interacting with friends.
