1 Bad Co Sum­mer Breeze

A bar­gain at just £1.67 from Asda, this pale ale is taste­fully in­fused with lime and mint. It’s been de­scribed as the craft beer equiv­a­lent to a mo­jito.

2 Wild Beer Co Ninkasi

A great cel­e­bra­tion beer, Wild Beer Co Ninkasi is cased in a beau­ti­ful 750ml bot­tle, the 9% beer from Waitrose costs £7.50 and is re-fer­mented with cham­pagne yeast and brewed with 10% lo­cal ap­ple juice.

3 Marks & Spencer’s Blood Or­ange Wheat Beer

A medi­um­bod­ied wheat beer com­bin­ing sub­tle spice notes with fresh, zesty blood or­ange, for a de­li­ciously re­fresh­ing twist.

4 Thorn­bridge Tart Bakewell Sour Beer

It costs £2 from Tesco and pours a golden yel­low colour. This drink is re­fresh­ingly tart and dry with cit­rusy hops and great flavours of grape­fruit and bit­ter lemon.

5 Badger’s The Mys­te­ri­ous Mer Chicken Beer

Ev­ery year, Badger Ales cre­ates one batch of lim­ited-edi­tion ale. This year’s spe­cial is a blonde beer called The Mys­te­ri­ous Mer-Chicken. Cost­ing £2.49, from Booths, it’s a per­fect sum­mer­time tip­ple, fer­mented with Bel­gian yeast and in­fused with basil for a dis­tinc­tive beer with herbal un­der­tones.

6 Or­ganic Celia Pre­mium Lager

A crisp, de­light­fully cool­ing Czech lager that is nat­u­rally car­bon­ated and gluten free. The range is cur­rently avail­able from Tesco and Waitrose stores and on­line as well as Ocado and se­lected Od­dbins, Booths and Whole Foods stores. Or­ganic Celia and Dark Celia both cost £2.49.

7 Bux­ton x Om­nipollo Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Pie pale ale

A semi-sweet beer brewed us­ing lac­tose for a creamy sweet­ness, with added lemon juice for sharp­ness. Beer Mer­chants, £4.35.
