Laurel Park sets date for annual fun day

LAUREL PARK FC is set to host its annual Fun Day on July 1.

Included on the day are a number of youth football activities.

There will be academy sessions for

Under 5s and 6s for those looking to start playing football, in preparation for the new Little Kickers academy which begins in September.

These will be open to anybody on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event will also house a charity pre-loved football boot stall with money raised going to the Lisa Wise memorial fund.

The club are looking for any old boots to be donated to the sale.

Wise was the club’s netball head coach and Laurel Park Netball Club will also be present.

Junior football tournament for U6s through to U18s will also be held throughout the day with prizes for the teams after their 2016/17 exploits on the pitch also set to be handed out.
