A MAN from Win­nersh has been fined more than £800 after be­ing found guilty of driv­ing of­fences.

Colin For­re­stal, 60, of Rain­bow Park, was charged with driv­ing whilst dis­qual­i­fied in Lit­tlewick Green on Septem­ber 8 last year; and driv­ing with­out in­sur­ance on the same date at the same place.

Mr For­re­stal had pleaded not guilty to both charges, but was con­victed at Read­ing Mag­is­trates’ Court on Septem­ber 4.

Mr For­re­stal was not present for the hear­ing.

For the charge of driv­ing whilst dis­qual­i­fied, he was fined £220, and or­dered to pay costs of £775. For the charge of driv­ing with­out in­sur­ance, he was fined £660, and or­dered to pay a sur­charge of £66. His also re­ceived eight points on his li­cence.

A TEENAGER from Shin­field is due to ap­pear in court charged with as­sault.

Casey Jamie Sean Jinks, 19, of Fren­sham Green, is charged with as­sault­ing a woman in Read­ing on July 20 this year. Mr Jinks de­nies the charge.

He has been re­manded on bail to ap­pear at Read­ing Mag­is­trates’ Court on October 10, and is not to at­tend an ad­dress in Read­ing be­fore that time.

A MAN from Ar­bor­field is due to ap­pear in court charged with driv­ing of­fences.

Jason David Al­bert Clark, 35, of Barker Close, is charged with one count of driv­ing whilst un­fit through drink, and one count of driv­ing a motor ve­hi­cle when above the al­co­hol limit.

Both charges re­late to an in­ci­dent in Princess Ma­rina Drive on Jan­uary 13 this year, when Mr Clark is al­leged to have driven a Tri­umph Tiger XR motorcycle while over the al­co­hol limit. Mr Clark de­nies both charges. He has been re­manded on un­con­di­tional bail to ap­pear at Read­ing Mag­is­trates’ Court on Novem­ber 8.

A MAN is due to ap­pear in court charged with ha­rass­ing two peo­ple from Wok­ing­ham.

Shaun Dugdale, 21, of Keyn­sham Av­enue, Waltham For­est, is charged with pur­su­ing a course of con­duct which amounted to the ha­rass­ment of a woman and a man in Wok­ing­ham be­tween July 14 and Au­gust 18 this year.

Mr Dugdale is al­leged to have made un­wanted and per­sis­tent con­tact with the peo­ple over text mes­sage, email, phone calls and a LinkedIn page, and on Au­gust 18 he is al­leged to have at­tended and en­tered their home ad­dress with­out their knowl­edge or per­mis­sion.

Mr Dugdale de­nies the charge. He has been re­manded on bail to ap­pear at Read­ing Mag­is­trates’ Court on October 30 for the trial.

He is not to con­tact the man or woman di­rectly or in­di­rectly be­fore that time; and is not to go within 200 me­tres of their home ad­dress in Wok­ing­ham.

A MAN from Shin­field has been banned from driv­ing for 20 months after be­ing found guilty of drink- driv­ing.

Paul An­thony John Rose, 39, of Drewett Close, ap­peared at Read­ing Mag­is­trates’ Court on Septem­ber 5 where he was found guilty of driv­ing while over the al­co­hol limit in Read­ing on May 24 this year.

Mr Rose had de­nied the charge. He was fined £800; or­dered to pay a sur­charge of £85; costs of £775; and banned from hold­ing a li­cence for 20 months.

A 19-year-old man from Twyford is due to ap­pear in court charged with drug of­fences.

Ben­jamin Luke Tay­lor, of

Sta­tion Road, is charged with one count of pos­sess­ing with in­tent to sup­ply cannabis in Read­ing on May 4 this year; one count of pos­sess­ing heroin in Twyford on Septem­ber 28 last year.

He has in­di­cated a plea of guilty for these two charges.

He is also charged with one count of pos­sess­ing with in­tent to sup­ply heroin in Read­ing on

May 4 this year; and one count of ac­quir­ing, us­ing or pos­sess­ing crim­i­nal prop­erty, namely cash, in Read­ing on May 4 this year.

Mr Tay­lor de­nies these two charges.

He has been re­manded on un­con­di­tional bail to ap­pear at Read­ing Mag­is­trates’ Court on Novem­ber 7 for the trial.
