A MAN from Winnersh has been fined more than £800 after being found guilty of driving offences.
Colin Forrestal, 60, of Rainbow Park, was charged with driving whilst disqualified in Littlewick Green on September 8 last year; and driving without insurance on the same date at the same place.
Mr Forrestal had pleaded not guilty to both charges, but was convicted at Reading Magistrates’ Court on September 4.
Mr Forrestal was not present for the hearing.
For the charge of driving whilst disqualified, he was fined £220, and ordered to pay costs of £775. For the charge of driving without insurance, he was fined £660, and ordered to pay a surcharge of £66. His also received eight points on his licence.
A TEENAGER from Shinfield is due to appear in court charged with assault.
Casey Jamie Sean Jinks, 19, of Frensham Green, is charged with assaulting a woman in Reading on July 20 this year. Mr Jinks denies the charge.
He has been remanded on bail to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 10, and is not to attend an address in Reading before that time.
A MAN from Arborfield is due to appear in court charged with driving offences.
Jason David Albert Clark, 35, of Barker Close, is charged with one count of driving whilst unfit through drink, and one count of driving a motor vehicle when above the alcohol limit.
Both charges relate to an incident in Princess Marina Drive on January 13 this year, when Mr Clark is alleged to have driven a Triumph Tiger XR motorcycle while over the alcohol limit. Mr Clark denies both charges. He has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on November 8.
A MAN is due to appear in court charged with harassing two people from Wokingham.
Shaun Dugdale, 21, of Keynsham Avenue, Waltham Forest, is charged with pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a woman and a man in Wokingham between July 14 and August 18 this year.
Mr Dugdale is alleged to have made unwanted and persistent contact with the people over text message, email, phone calls and a LinkedIn page, and on August 18 he is alleged to have attended and entered their home address without their knowledge or permission.
Mr Dugdale denies the charge. He has been remanded on bail to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 30 for the trial.
He is not to contact the man or woman directly or indirectly before that time; and is not to go within 200 metres of their home address in Wokingham.
A MAN from Shinfield has been banned from driving for 20 months after being found guilty of drink- driving.
Paul Anthony John Rose, 39, of Drewett Close, appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on September 5 where he was found guilty of driving while over the alcohol limit in Reading on May 24 this year.
Mr Rose had denied the charge. He was fined £800; ordered to pay a surcharge of £85; costs of £775; and banned from holding a licence for 20 months.
A 19-year-old man from Twyford is due to appear in court charged with drug offences.
Benjamin Luke Taylor, of
Station Road, is charged with one count of possessing with intent to supply cannabis in Reading on May 4 this year; one count of possessing heroin in Twyford on September 28 last year.
He has indicated a plea of guilty for these two charges.
He is also charged with one count of possessing with intent to supply heroin in Reading on
May 4 this year; and one count of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property, namely cash, in Reading on May 4 this year.
Mr Taylor denies these two charges.
He has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on November 7 for the trial.
