The Coasts are clear for a re­turn

FOL­LOW­ING hot on the heels of the re­lease of their new al­bum, rock heavy­weights Coasts are head­ing to Read­ing later this month.

Hav­ing formed in 2011 as stu­dents in Bris­tol, Coasts have es­tab­lished a huge fan­base over the last six years, which has led to the band sell­ing out venues across the globe.

Clock­ing up mil­lions of on­line streams, more than 130,000 Face­book lifes and over 100,000 sales thanks to sin­gles such as Mod­ern Love, A Rush of Blood, You and Oceans, Coasts have seen their star sky-rocket over the last two years, fol­low­ing the re­lease of their self-ti­tled de­but al­bum in 2016.

With ap­pear­ances at Read­ing and Leeds fes­ti­vals, Coachella, Glas­ton­bury and Lol­la­palooza un­der their belts, Coasts’ lat­est al­bum This Life was re­leased on Au­gust 18 to huge crit­i­cal ac­claim.

Hav­ing teamed up with pro­ducer Dan Bryer, who has worked with the likes of Rag’N’ Bone Man and Niall Ho­ran; Tim Lar­combe (Lana Del Ray); and Duncan Mills (The Vac­cines, Jake Bugg), Coasts are cer­tainly in fine com­pany.

Fol­low­ing their a sell-out club tour ear­lier this year, Coasts come to Sub89 in Read­ing on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 22 as part of a huge 38-night tour of the UK. Hav­ing sold out mas­sive venues across the globe, this in­ti­mate gig is one not to be missed.
