SAM GUZE con­tin­ued his fine sea­son with a brace as WOOD­LEY UNITED ROY­ALS eased past

WOK­ING­HAM AND EMM­BROOK RE­SERVES 5-2 in the Thames Val­ley Pre­mier Di­vi­sion.

Guze, who took his tally to seven goals in seven games, gave Wood­ley a 2-1 lead at the break.

And Roy­als pulled clear after the restart with Teddy Thomas, Jack McCor­mack and Liam Wil­son also find­ing the net.

In cup ac­tion, FIN­CHAMP­STEAD moved through to the next round of the Berks and Bucks Intermediate Cup with a penalty shoot-out win over Imaan Lions.

Lewis Francis put Finches ahead just be­fore the hour mark but Imaan forced penal­ties with a 1-1 draw. How­ever, Fin­champ­stead tri­umphed 4-2 on spot kicks. FC WOOD­LEY are also through after a 3-1 win over As­cot United Re­serves with Liam Be­sant (2) and Christo­pher War­ing on tar­get.

HARCHESTER HAWKS are out, los­ing 2-1 at Kint­bury Rangers Re­serves.

Ash­ley Lamb’s late goal earned HURST

RE­SERVES a 1-1 draw at home against South Read­ing in Di­vi­sion Two.

Shamen Goswell net­ted twice as WOOD­LEY UNITED A eased past Taplow United Re­serves 3-0 in Di­vi­sion Three.

Ben­jamin An­der­son was also on tar­get as Wood­ley climb up to fourth.

In the same league, HURST A drew 1-1 with

Hen­ley Town Re­serves. WOOD­LEY UNITED B are still un­beaten in Di­vi­sion Four after a 3-1 win over Maiden­head Town A thanks to goals from Cal­lum Fox-Spence, Clay­ton Hol­loway and Darnte Cranston.

HARCHESTER HAWKS DEVEL­OP­MENT are still seek­ing a first point after los­ing 4-1 at home to Taplow United A.

In the Sun­day leagues, WOOD­LEY UNITED are out of the Berks and Bucks Intermediate Cup after los­ing 6-2 at CROWTHORNE INN.

Wood­ley fell be­hind early on but turned it around to lead 2-1 with Jack Shone net­ting twice.

How­ever, Crowthorne turned on the style after the restart to ease to vic­tory.
