There­are more than 300 chan­nels on my tele­vi­sion set, most of which are ut­ter trash which I could hap­pily do with­out. Un­for­tu­nately, they come with the pack­age. Even worse, sev­eral style them­selves as “mu­sic” chan­nels but guess how many are de­voted to se­ri­ous or­ches­tral, cham­ber, in­stru­men­tal or opera? None! Help is at hand, how­ever, and we will con­tinue to pub­lish spe­cial of­fers when­ever we can. John Ire­land was a fine, gen­tle and tune­ful com­poser and we are de­lighted to link up again with Lyrita, an English record com­pany de­voted to the best home-grown mu­sic (see be­low).
