Jane Fortune, D.H.L.
Author, lecturer, art collector and philanthropist, Jane is author of To Florence, Con Amore, 90 Ways to Live the City; Invisible Women, Forgotten Artists of Florence and Art by Women in Florence: A Guide Through 500 Years. Her book Invisible Women, Forgotten Artists of Florence was the basis of a PBS documentary of the same title, which won a coveted Emmy in 2013. She is the Cultural Editor of The Florentine, the English speaking news magazine in Florence, and serves on several Museum Boards of Trustees in the United States. When the World Answered: Women Artists for Florence After the 1966 Flood, with Linda Falcone, was published in October 2014.
