By Jar.ciucus, of Wawel Cathedral in Kraków, Poland. Also known as the Royal Archcathedral Basilica of Saints Stanislaus and Wenceslaus on the Wawel Hill, it is over 900 years old. The church traditionally served as the coronation site of the Polish monarchs as well as the Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Kraków. This is the third church constructed on this site. The first two, dating to the 11th and 12th centuries were destroyed and this edifice dates to the 14th century.
