Autumn already! It's a cliché, I know, but another year is flying by! But there is still much that can be seen in the last few months of the year – which could include a trip to Dutch Design Week in October which is held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Easy to reach with direct flights from Stansted airport, or just over an hour from Amsterdam by train, Matilda Hickson was most taken with her visit to this vibrant city and inspired by all she saw of innovative Dutch design. This is also a good time of year to visit Geneva – a city which has such a fascinating history and is not just about watches and chocolate!
In this issue David Weinczok shares his very own Scottish 'castles corridor' and Joshua J. Marks brings us a treasure in the form of the lesser-known and visited Maya site of Chacchoben. Emma Guy checks out the art scene in Melbourne and our museum focus is the fabulous Jinsha Archaeological Site in Chengdu, China.
