Young Rembrandt's Studio opens

Timeless Travels Magazine - - ART NEWS -

The Young Rembrandt Studio has opened in Leiden. Based at Langebrug 89, this is the house where Rembrandt received his first painting lessons from his mentor, Jacob van Swanenburg. The listed 17th-century building now houses a unique stop in the 'Footsteps of the Young Rembrandt' walking tour, as the story of young Rembrandt comes to life in a seven-minute immersive show, which takes place in the reconstructed studio of Swanenburg. The studio is free to visit and has an information centre.
