FILL IN THE BUNKERS

Today's Golfer (UK) - - FIRST TEE - TONY AVERY

Ask most golfers what irks them most after a round and I bet it’s the poor state of the bunkers. The majority have little to no sand in them, and if they do it’s normally of an inconsistent nature. I would suggest reducing the number of sand bunkers, retaining only those that require little attention and replacing the others as grass bunkers. This would save clubs some much-needed money and make the game more fun for us hackers.
