Pyjamas that are too good to keep just for bedtime

Town & Country (UK) - - TOWN -

Prowling tigers, swirling foliage and fluttering parrots adorn Desmond & Dempsey’s colourful pyjamas. The London company was founded by Molly Goddard (no relation to the designer) and her husband Joel Jeffrey, mostly thanks to her fondness for borrowing his white shirts to sleep in. ‘I always think that men’s tailoring suits women so well,’ she says. ‘Having tried and failed to find the perfect pair of pyjamas, we decided to make our own.’ The designs are cut from the softest cotton, with piped edges and mother-of-pearl buttons – it’s not surprising that the couple have spotted them being worn out and about, as well as around the home. cg www.desmondanddempsey.com
