Trail Running (UK) - - Warm- Up -

“Did you sign up to #Run1000Miles with some apprehension? I did! But, like nearly 4000 others, the important thing is you’re giving it a go. The worst that can happen is we don’t succeed. But for many of us, we may still achieve our highest-ever mileage year, so it’s all good! This isn’t a January challenge to be blitzed and then drop. There’s plenty of time to clock up the miles. The vast majority will struggle with illness or injury at some point – many already have. So take each day at a time. Focus on incremental chunks – 2-3 miles per day, or 5 miles twice a week with a longer weekend social run. Don’t compare yourself to others. Share your pics in our amazing Facebook community and enjoy those trails. We’re all supporting each other.” Ambassador Jeff McCarthy has this advice to anyone who feels the #Run1000 Miles goal is a long way off: Join us on Facebook: www.facebook. com/groups/Run1000Miles
