Trail Running (UK) - - Welcome -

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME It’s official. An amazing 3500 of you have signed up to the #Run1000Miles challenge so far and are well on your way to having your fittest year ever in 2017. Nice work! I keep in touch with a whopping 1400 of you via our closed Facebook group, and it’s so inspirational. Daily, hourly even, there are new photos of you guys grinning insanely out on the hills with your running friends, taking #TrailShoeSelfies with incredible mountain views and posting your mileage stats. If people have a bad day, are injured or haven’t run as far as they’d have liked, everyone replies to their posts with messages of motivation and support. You really are a great community of people to be part of – THANK YOU! I’ll be at Sheffield Adventure Film Festival 18-19 March, and there’s talk of a meet-up in Edale over that weekend, so head to the Facebook group if you want to get involved. It’ll be a fun, social run, and no one will be left behind or sprinting off (least of all me with all my chatting!). I’ve gathered an amusing selection of your photos and shenanigans on p28, and the best one has won a prize from one of our sponsors, Montane, Silva, Up & Running, 1000 Mile Socks and Inov-8. Could it be you? Keep posting your comments and pictures with the hashtag #Run1000Miles to be in with a chance to win every issue. Keep up the fantastic work guys, and I’ll see you out on the trails!
