We – and Jenn Gaskell – are jeal­ous of your run with a view! “If you have time, I would try to get an 18-22 mile run in a few weeks be­fore the race,” she says. “Re­duce dis­tance af­ter that to make sure you’re fully re­cov­ered. Never in­crease your weekly train­ing dis­tance by more than 10% though, and take an eas­ier week ev­ery four or so. Prac­tis­ing on sim­i­lar ter­rain will also give you an ad­van­tage – good luck!”
