Ob­sta­cle Race Course (OCR) events have tran­scended their jolly, am­a­teur up­bring­ing, ris­ing from the bog in the form of pro­fes­sional events like World’s Tough­est Mud­der and the OCR World Cham­pi­onships. Those fun-run-type OCR events still ex­ist, of course, but more and more bud­ding com­peti­tors are as­pir­ing to prove them­selves on a more com­pet­i­tive stage. To make it, though, they’ll need to train – and hard.
