Are you a true trail run­ner? Then you’ll have heard the buzz sur­round­ing our #Run1000Miles cam­paign… Since Jan­uary, al­most 4000 of you have pledged to take up the chal­lenge, and over 2000 want to talk about it daily, as part of our thriv­ing #Run1000Miles Face­book group; shar­ing sto­ries, clock­ing miles and seek­ing mo­ti­va­tion. We’re not sug­gest­ing that if you start now you’re too late to tick off 1000 miles of trail run­ning be­fore the year is out; plenty of you have al­ready smashed the to­tal! But for those who are find­ing it more of a strug­gle, or for whom ill­ness, in­jury or ev­ery­day life have pushed that elu­sive 1000 miles just out of reach, it’s not too late to en­joy that same sense of achieve­ment and com­mit to your fittest year yet with a brand-new goal – #Run500Miles.

Tick off 500 miles in 2017 and you’ll still have run the equiv­a­lent of 19 marathons be­fore the year is out, and if you’ve been clock­ing up a weekly 9.6 miles or more since the start of the year, you’re al­ready over halfway there. Or start to­day with a daily 5k, or a longer less fre­quent out­ing, and watch the miles clock up. Take up the chal­lenge to­day!
