Standing up from your desk only to sit down again in a board­room isn’t what your mind or body need, nor is it go­ing to make for a pro­duc­tive dis­cus­sion. Take your meet­ing out­side and walk as you talk, in­stead. Ad­mit­tedly, this will only work for a meet­ing be­tween two or three peo­ple, but an ac­tive body makes for a dy­namic mind and you’ll ex­pe­ri­ence greater cre­ativ­ity on the move. Not to men­tion the in­creased step count on your oft-ma­ligned Fitbit.
