BOARDMAN TASKER NIGHT, BUXTON

Buxton Adventure Festival is set to host a celebration for the lives of Joe Tasker and Peter Boardman, the mountaineering authors who disappeared on the North Ridge of Mt Everest in 1982. Short readings from their award-winning literature will be delivered by Martin Wragg and Steve Dean, while former Boardman Tasker Award for Mountain Literature winners Andy Cave and Stephen Venables will also be present as story-telling guests.
