USED BY sleeping outside fan and art ed Louise Parker USED FOR 4 sleeps

The first time I took this bag out, overnight lows of 2°C were promised – so I added Sea To Summit’s Thermolite Reactor liner (reviewed Aug 2018), and bedded down in merino base layers and socks. The temp did indeed drop, but I was perfectly toasty the whole night. On another trip during the summer’s hot spell, I stuck to the bare essentials, and again was comfy all night long, while the next morning my camp buddies complained of being cold in their summer bags. I detest my feet being flattened by bedding, so it was the ‘anatomical footbox’ that really caught my attention. The larger end section did exactly what I’d hoped, proving roomy enough for some proper toe-wriggling. The stash pocket was the perfect home for my eye mask, ear plugs and headtorch, while the bag compressed to just the height of a water bottle and width of two.

Tip-top summer sleeping bag for large-footed marmots, with impressively compact stashability credentials.
