Start Cwrt Isaf, grid ref SH539464 Terrain Rough mountain path

This is a shorter alternative to Route 4 and a good escape route off the western side of the mountain. From the head of Cwm Isaf (gated road with very limited parking) follow the path up Cwm Llefrith as far as the bwlch between Moel yr Ogof and Moel Hebog, then turn roughly southeast up the steep pull to Hebog’s summit.
