Blagdon Lake in North Somerset

Trout Fisherman (UK) - - Contents -

BLAGDON Lake sits at the foot of the Mendip Hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its 440 acres contains deep basins and long banks, plenty of points and promontories as well as shallow, sheltered bays. Most of the seven-mile perimeter has easy bank access but to explore the more remote areas a boat is the answer. Gareth Jones reveals his favourite areas.
