KNOTS TO USE
Whenever choosing a tippet, one has to consider the properties and knots are crucial. There are many to choose from but personal choice comes down to a double grinner (uni) or four-turn water knot for droppers. For attaching a fly, with no memory or ‘pig tailing’, especially for dry fly, I recommend a knot referred to as the JB knot - see below.
Pass through eye and form a loop as shown. Pass tag ends through loop three times. Pull tag ends so knot is loosely tight. Moisten then pull tag ends tight so knot slides to eye.
