Jake Waterman – Russell Hill (now TF Editor) was the guy who taught me everything I know. A great angler and memories of night fishing down on the River Nene catching big eels is something I will never forget . Jim Foster – 40 years! Mega. Fab team. When I was growing up I used to enjoy Pete Cockwill’s features because he used to fish the waters I loved. To get to know him later in life and find out he was a lovely, kind and generous bloke was the icing on the cake. Great that he’s still in the magazine today. Alastair Logan – My scout master used to take me fishing to Orton Water every Saturday. I learned my apprenticeship there. He also taught me to tie up flies. Happy memories and you never forget the feeling of a trout hitting the fly even when I temporarily left fishing to chase girls! Peter Lorrimer –My motocross buddy when I was looking for something else to do between cancelled race meetings. Too wet to race means it’s great to fish!
