TROUTMASTERS GOLD BADGES
THERE’S a flurry of Gold Badge winners this month! Five anglers earn thier first Gold Badges of the season and they are: Gaenor Berkin, from Kemnay, Aberdeenshire for catches at Artloch, Lochter, Forbes of Kingennie, Midmar and Raemoir; Gordon Swain, Stanley, Co Durham for success at Bessy Beck, Higham Lake, Kailzie Fishery, Langley Dam and Marston Wyse; Keith Bruce, Aberdeen, for catches at Artloch, Forbes of Kingennie, Lochter, Midmar and Raemoir; Malcolm Proudlock, Stanley, Co Durham, at Aldin Grange, Higham Lake, Kailzie, Kilnsey Park and Marston Wyse; and Michael Cothay, Stanley, Co Durham, at Aldin Grange, Bessy Beck, Chatton, Marston Wyse and Thrunton. Meanwhile, a second Gold Badge is awarded to Matthew Devine, from Morpeth for catches at Chatton Trout Fishery, Higham Lake, Kilnsey Park, New Mills and Thrunton. The coveted Troutmasters Gold Badge is awarded to anglers who win five badges each from five different fisheries during the Troutmasters season. The more fisheries you visit, the more chance you have of winning a Troutmasters Gold Badge.
