DUN­GAN­NON PARK LAKE TROUT FISH­ERY

A BEAU­TI­FUL stream-fed lake cov­er­ing 12-acres, sit­u­ated in a 70-acre public park in North­ern Ire­land, of­fer­ing boat and bank an­gling (a Wheely­boat is avail­able for dis­abled an­glers). The site is home to a range of aquatic in­sects and fly life and is reg­u­larly stocked with rain­bow trout. All the usual rain­bow trout flies and tac­tics should work. A catch-and-re­lease ticket is avail­able. For those keen to learn how to fly­fish, an­gling in­struc­tion and boats are avail­able by pre-book­ing and all equip­ment is sup­plied. A fish­ing lodge is on hand, pro­vid­ing re­fresh­ments. Other fa­cil­i­ties on-site in­clude a fully ser­viced tour­ing car­a­van park with hard stand­ing pitches and am­ple space sup­plied for tents, a net­work of in­ter­est­ing path­way walks, ten­nis courts, chil­drens’ play area and bar­beque site, trea­sure and ori­en­teer­ing trails, for any non-an­glers with you, who need en­ter­tain­ing while you fish!
