Do you think TF should cover coarsefishorseafishonfly? After all, the sport is changing.

Trout Fisherman (UK) - - Letters -

■ Ian Alexander – Stick to trout fishing. There are plenty of other magazines to cater for all disciplines of our sport. I’ve bought other flyfishing magazines which have diluted their content in this way but I still come back to TroutFisherman. I would love to see more articles on sea trout though the stillwater content is spot on in my opinion. ■ Andrew Griffin – I’m a coarse angler at heart but have flyfished for trout and other fish for over 10 years. I enjoy these articles and think some people are very narrowminded. Flyfishing is no more than a method. In certain situations it is the only way to catch a fish. I love the method, the portability and mobility, but does it really matter what fish actually pulls your string? ■ John Weightman – Stick with trout, mainly on the fly, and mainly in Britain and Ireland. ■ Tony Osborne – No problem with covering all aspects, but wouldn’t that necessitate a name change? ■ Chris Mulholland – Stick to just trout. As a subscriber who has little interest in coarse fishing it is rather annoying to turn the page and find other species being covered.
