BANKSIDE CLEAN-UP
DISCARDED leader material, beer cans or any litter is a disgusting sight on our banks and Trout Fisherman urges all anglers to dispose of litter responsibly. Leader material is a danger to wildlife and takes an absolute age to degrade. Cut it up and take it home to place in a bin or use the bins provided at some fisheries. If you see leader or any litter on the banks of rivers or stillwaters, do your bit and take it home. Take a picture of it on your phone before tidying up and then post it on our Facebook page letting all know that you’ve helped the cause. If every angler did this then our environment would be as pristine as possible for future angling generations. Every little helps! Litter isn’t someone else’s problem. It’s our problem!
