Trout Fisherman (UK) - - Fly Masters -

AS its name suggests, wing biots from both goose and turkey figure highly in this pattern. The body is formed from a dyed black turkey biot, which being relatively large, works beautifully providing a natural ta per while numerous tiny filaments soft en the overall effect. The rib, or two ribs to be precise, are applied with great accuracy–the gaps between each turn being almost identical. The combination of black feather fibre and red tinsel looks particularly effective and is accentuated by the sparkling turns of fine silver wire. This fly fits the brief perfectly and is extremely well tied, a worthy winner.
