PETER SAYS: Alan Mason’ s Silver Buzzer is a bright, chunky Buzz er pattern with plenty of fish-attracting spark le. It certainly fits the bill but won’ t be making any fly-tying supplier wealthy as three of its materials are salvaged from sweet wrapping sand the like. The silver body is formed from as trip cut from a yoghurt pot lid and is rib bed with a length of red beading wire producing an impressive effect.
