NONE of us like to see dis­carded leader ma­te­rial lit­ter­ing our banks – it’s a danger to wildlife. Ev­ery Trout­mas­ters wa­ter will re­ceive a poster and a bin sign to place ac­cord­ingly at their wa­ter.

Raith Lakes pro­duced this 10lb 7oz rain­bow for Dun­fermline fly an­gler Jonathan Smith. He used a float­ing line with a sink-tip and 8lb leader.

Cory Dow, from North Shields, tempted this 6lb 15oz rain­bow from Long Crag lake at Thrun­ton fish­ery us­ing a Buzzer.

Gor­don Hal­dane used a Sedge pat­tern to tempt this 7lb rain­bow from Perth’s Kin­ross trout fish­ery where four lakes are avail­able.

Josh Piper with a 9lb 12oz rain­bow from Chat­ton fish­ery. Josh took third place in the ‘Angling to save tiny lives’ char­ity event at the venue.

South Queens­ferry an­gler Charles McNeil caught this 10lb 4oz rain­bow from Fish XL us­ing float-fished mag­got about four to five feet deep.

Adam Price-Hunt took out a catch and re­lease ticket at Big­well fish­ery and fin­ished with his bag limit of 10 in­clud­ing this nice rain­bow.

Mike James used the os­trich herl emerger high­lighted by Mike Thrus­sell in his TF ar­ti­cle (is­sue 513) to catch this 12lb 4oz rain­bow from Paper­mill fish­ery.

Karl Ed­wards, from Liver­pool, had a bat­tle on his hands af­ter hook­ing this 12lb rain­bow at Graiglwyd Springs fish­ery. It tok off like a rocket three times af­ter tak­ing his White Apps’ Blood­worm.
