I re­cently broke a sec­tion of my Air­flo fly-rod, so I emailed Air­flo at 9 am – and re­ceived a re­ply at 9:20. They asked me to send them the bro­ken sec­tion and in re­turn they would send me a re­place­ment part, or if that were not pos­si­ble, they would send me a new rod. The new sec­tion was posted that af­ter­noon. I feel it would be al­most im­pos­si­ble to im­prove on that level of ser­vice. Com­pa­nies of­ten get crit­i­cised, so I think it is right to con­grat­u­late them when ap­pro­pri­ate. Andy Buchanan, Glas­gow
