Dalmarnock, River Tay

Trout & Salmon (UK) - - England And Wales -

Dalmarnock is one of the longest beats on the Tay, with almost three miles of double-bank fishing. It is three miles downstream of the confluence of the Tay and the Tummel. The beat has classic fly water with easy wading, as well as spinning and harling water with 15 named pools. The average catch over the past four years is more than 100 fish, making it one of the most prolific beats on the middle/upper Tay. The beat offers a bespoke package for people wishing to learn to fish, either spinning or fly-fishing. All tackle is provided. There are two boats and a large fishing hut with woodburner, WC, inside and outside dining area, and cooking facilities. Day-tickets for salmon cost from £55. Contact Tom Carter, Fishpal.
