One hundred acres with holiday lets
The Plas Meini Estate, in a magnificent setting in the Vale of Ffestiniog in the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, has fishing, a manor house and four cottages, which have been let for self-catering holidays. Blaenau Ffestiniog is three miles and Portmeirion five. The Manor House, built in about 1865, provides two reception rooms,a library, conservatory, main bedroom with ensuite bathroom, seven further bedrooms and two bathrooms. In addition there’s a three-bedroom Cottage, two-bedroom Barn, single bedroom Granary and single-bedroom Stables. Gardens extend to an acre and there are stables, an office, workshop and large hay barn. A barn with seven acres and separate access is available by separate negotiation. In all, the property extends to 100 acres of pasture and woodland. The river Teigl, a tributary of the Dwyryd that flows into Cardigan Bay north of Harlech, borders the estate, with a mile of salmon and trout fishing. There is also a small lake with jetty and fishing hut beyond the gardens.
Looks promising. Plas Meini has an income stream, and a salmon and trout river.
