What is Nick hiding?
IN A BID to woo Leanne, Nick splashes the cash this week. Hearing that her and Toyah’s Tile Street flat is a flea pit, he pays the deposit and three months rent on Johnny and Jenny’s former Victoria Street pad, so that his ex and her sibling have somewhere a little more comfortable to call home.
But when it comes to truth and honesty, Nick isn’t quite so generous. He’s clearly panic-stricken when David spots a series of missed calls on his phone from someone called ‘E’, and the plot thickens when Shona overhears him lying to a caller that he has to look after his poorly mum, Gail.
Shona confronts the businessman, leading to a row. Their argument is brought to an abrupt halt when David drops the bombshell that he was raped. Nick’s horrified, and when Leanne suggests he stick around to support his brother, he calls the mysterious ‘E’ and fibs that Gail’s condition has worsened. He’s hiding something fairly monumental – but what is it, and will Leanne find out?
