Director Christopher Nolan brings his epic Batman trilogy to a satisfying conclusion as Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne resurrects his crime-fighting alter ego to save Gotham City from Tom Hardy’s masked terrorist Bane. Nolan stages the jaw-dropping set-pieces with typical bravura and gets great performances from his leads.
