30, Ghanaian-born banker who lives in London
How does it feel to get this far?
Phew! I genuinely didn’t think I’d make it here, but I’m well chuffed with my efforts. which bake are you most proud of? I’d say my floral cake although my Yorkshires were pretty great! which bake would you rather forget? Lace pancakes – I’ll stick to making them the normal way. My churros and Viennese whirls were shambolic but I can’t forget those as I like eating them! Favourite bake off moment? Thinking how it gets families and people together. It’s humbling that home bakers can make people want to bake. It’s a great feeling. Funniest judge’s comment?
Paul seeing through my nonsense about my three loaves centrepiece. what’s the bake off dream?
I hope to open a bakery, but first a motorbike tour of europe to learn about rural baking.
