How does it feel to get this far?

Phew! I gen­uinely didn’t think I’d make it here, but I’m well chuffed with my ef­forts. which bake are you most proud of? I’d say my flo­ral cake al­though my York­shires were pretty great! which bake would you rather for­get? Lace pan­cakes – I’ll stick to mak­ing them the nor­mal way. My chur­ros and Vi­en­nese whirls were sham­bolic but I can’t for­get those as I like eat­ing them! Favourite bake off mo­ment? Think­ing how it gets fam­i­lies and peo­ple to­gether. It’s hum­bling that home bak­ers can make peo­ple want to bake. It’s a great feel­ing. Fun­ni­est judge’s com­ment?

I hope to open a bak­ery, but first a mo­tor­bike tour of europe to learn about ru­ral bak­ing.
