How does it feel to get this far? Un­be­liev­able! I never imag­ined I’d get past the au­di­tions, so to be up against these bak­ers is amaz­ing. I feel very lucky. which bake are you most proud of?

My gin­ger­bread pub – how it came to­gether I’ll never know! My prac­tice ones had been aw­ful. which bake would you rather for­get? My raw bread. Mor­ti­fy­ing. I still have no idea why it didn’t bake. I was em­bar­rassed and felt so out of my depth. Favourite bake off mo­ment? Tired­ness hit us all one week and I started to laugh and couldn’t stop! Fun­ni­est judge’s com­ment? Mary said my flo­ral cake was just like me – over the top. what’s the bake off dream? It was to get on the show. now I’d love to bake all the time, wear more lip­stick, have more pug dogs [Candice has a pug called Den­nis] and keep smil­ing!
