Johnny be­comes con­cerned about Lee and Whit­ney’s lav­ish spend­ing

Time to rein it in: Johnny has wise words for his bigspend­ing brother fter suf­fer­ing the trauma of a mis­car­riage, Whit­ney and Lee are look­ing to the fu­ture. But is it a fu­ture they can af­ford? Johnny fears they aren’t liv­ing within their means, and sets out to have words with his big bruv.

On the plus side, Lee is at least in gain­ful em­ploy­ment again

Afol­low­ing the col­lapse of the fishy em­pire that was Briggs and Son. He starts his new job on Mon­day, and is full of the joys of spring when he re­turns home. But he’s not even had his first pay cheque when Whit­ney sug­gests they look into get­ting their own house. Mean­while, he spoils her with a big present.

It’s not just her own place that Whit­ney wants. She con­fides in Lau­ren that she wants to try for an­other baby, too. Lee’s at work at the time and, when he ar­rives home, he has some bad news. Has he been given the boot al­ready?

While Johnny tries to get his brother to curb his spend­ing, a giddy Whit­ney bom­bards him with her plans for the fu­ture. Lee will do any­thing for her – but at what cost?

While Lee holds his stag night in The Vic, Whit­ney has a sec­ond hen do – a pam­per party that falls flat when she re­veals she’s got her eye on a prop­erty in nearby Strat­ford. Linda’s not happy at the prospect of her son and his bride fly­ing the nest – but is it all a pipe dream, any­way?
