mothers and sons are the common thread as cameras return to the A&E department of St George’s Hospital in south London. Two 17-year-old lads are admitted as the new series begins – Shea has suffered a stab wound to the chest in an unprovoked knife attack, while Bob has managed to impale his leg on some railings after taking a short cut on the way home from school. While the amazing staff go about their business, the patients’ worried mums open up about their relationships with their boys.
