Friends when she made this romantic comedy in 1997. The plot is a 1950s throwback – to get on at work, Jen makes out she’s engaged to a guy (Jay Mohr) she’s just met – and there are no prizes for guessing where it’s heading. But Jen is a comedy natural and Kevin Bacon has fun as her bad-boy boss.
